Session 16: Alone, Not Lonely: Reclaiming Joy in Solo Holidays & Travel

For many women, the idea of spending the holidays alone is treated as something to avoid, fix, or feel sorry about. We've been taught that happiness looks like crowded tables, matching pajamas, family traditions, romantic partners, and full calendars. But what if being alone isn't a problem to solve? What if it can be peaceful, intentional, liberating, and even joyful?

This conversation is for women who are navigating solo holidays, independent travel, empty nests, divorce, widowhood, family estrangement, long-distance relationships, or simply choosing a different path than the one society expected. Together, we'll explore how to create meaningful experiences that aren't dependent on other people's availability, approval, or participation.

We'll talk honestly about loneliness, companionship, grief, freedom, self-trust, and the courage it takes to build a life that feels fulfilling on your own terms. We'll also discuss solo travel, creating new traditions, dining alone, celebrating yourself, and embracing experiences that many women have been taught to postpone until someone else joins them.

Because there is a difference between being alone and feeling lonely. One is a circumstance. The other is an emotional experience.

This session is about reclaiming the freedom to enjoy your own company, create your own joy, and stop putting your life on hold while waiting for someone else to show up.
