Who says grown women can't play?
This conversation is all about reclaiming joy, embracing whimsy, and giving ourselves permission to enjoy the things that make us happy—whether that's Hello Kitty, Smurfs, cosplay, glamping, roller skating, Comic-Con, Black Fae Day, fantasy novels, collecting dolls, or dressing up just because we feel like it.
We'll explore why so many Black women were taught to prioritize responsibility over play and how reconnecting with wonder can be a powerful act of self-care and liberation.
Together, we'll celebrate creativity, imagination, softness, and the simple joy of doing things that make our inner little girl smile. Because Black girl joy doesn't expire when we turn 40, 50, 60, or beyond.
Feel free to dress up, wear or have your favorite whimsy things to share. This session is about having fun and celebrating joy!
