September is Suicide Prevention Month, but we're not gathering to sit in heaviness.
We're gathering to talk about the things that help us stay connected—to ourselves, to our joy, to our people, and to the life we're still building.
Because sometimes prevention looks like a crisis hotline. And sometimes it looks like a sister who checks in, a friend who answers the phone, a good meal, a walk outside, belly laughter, therapy, community, or simply having somewhere you can show up exactly as you are.
In this conversation, we'll talk honestly about:
❤️ The power of connection and community
❤️ How to check in on the people we love without making it awkward
❤️ Recognizing when someone may need more support
❤️ The small things that help us stay connected to joy and purpose
❤️ How to support a sister without trying to "fix" everything
❤️ Building a personal support circle before a crisis happens
❤️ Knowing when professional or crisis support may be needed
This is not about having the perfect words or saving everyone.
It's about learning how to stay connected, pay attention, ask better questions, and remind each other that none of us has to carry everything alone.
And yes, there will be laughter. There will be honest conversation. There will be joy. Because suicide prevention is also about building lives, relationships, and communities worth staying connected to.
